Penny Black Winter Challenge

Last week’s Penny Black “winter” challenge gave me the opportunity to make another Christmas card. The snowman is from the transparent stamp set “holly-jolly” and the title is from “the wonder”. To add some texture to the card, I created a snowy hill out of felt and for more dimension layered the snowman’s gloves and stocking. I adhered the snowman using 3D foam and finished off my card by adding a punched out snowflake as well as some twine.

    Ja, mir gefällt sehr gut, was ich sehe. Der Schneemann ist sehr süss, wie er da auf dem Schneehügel steht. Es gefällt mir, dass Du einzelne Elemente in 3D aufgebracht hast, das sieht gut aus. Und der Schneeflockenhintergrund sowie die gestanzte Schneeflocke passen auch hier wieder ganz gut. Und die rote Matte sowie das “Garn” kommen auf dem Kraft Cardstock auch schön zur Geltung.

    I clicked on your card to get a better look at the felt . . . for the snow . . . and it’s a fantastic effect! The bakers twine adds a great pop of red and even more dimension! Love it!
