Stamped Onesies

It’s official: I’m an Aunt! My niece was born on September 16th and she is absolutely adorable! As a little gift, I stamped these onesies for her (for a full list of supplies and step by step instructions, please scroll down to the end of this post).

Stamped Dog Onesie

Stamped Mushroom Onesie

Stamped Bee Onesie

Supplies: onesies, stamps, Stazon Jet Black ink, Tsukineko Fabrico Markers, iron and cardboard

Instructions:
1. Wash and dry onesie (do not use fabric softener)
2. Place a piece of cardboard in between the front and back of the onesie to keep the ink from bleeding through
3. Stamp image and heat-set it with iron for a permanent result (set iron to cotton, do not use steam)
4. Color image and heat-set it with iron to ensure that the colors won’t come off in the wash (set iron to cotton, do not use steam)
5. Put onesie in dryer as an additional measure to prevent the image from fading

Thanks for looking! Which onesie is your favorite? I greatly appreciate all your visits and comments.

Penny Black Polaroid Card

For this polaroid card, I used the dog from the Penny Black transparent stamp set “Every Which Way” and combined him with a title from “the touch of love”.
I colored the dog and heart balloon using Prismacolor Pencils and Mona Lisa Odorless Paint Thinner. To add dimension, I fussy cut them, popped them up on crafting foam and applied Glossy Accents to the heart. The polaroid itself is mounted on dimensionals as well.
To give my card a finished look, I created a stitched border using my white gel pen.
This is my second entry for the April challenge at Penny Black @ Allsorts.
If you are interested, you can see the first card I submitted here.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me! I would love to hear what you think about my card.

Have a Micey Nice Day Card

Today I’m here with a Penny Black mouse card. The mouse crawling up the cheese is from “London calling” and the one looking up at him is from the transparent stamp set “Every Which Way”. I colored both of them using Prismacolor Pencils and Mona Lisa Odorless Paint Thinner. To add dimension, I heat embossed the Inky Antics title with American Crafts Zing embossing powder and popped up the bottom mouse on crafting foam. Using the Cricut and George and Basic Shapes cartridge, I created the block of cheese by randomly cutting circles of different sizes into a piece of yellow Bazzill cardstock.
To finish off my card, I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen.
I’m entering this card in the current Penny Black @ Allsorts Challenge.
Have a “micey” nice day!

Penny Black Bee Gift Tag

Happy Monday everyone! I’m kicking off the new week with this Penny Black gift tag. If you adore the bee from “Every Which Way” as much as I do check out the two birthday cards I created with it (please click here and here). Thanks for looking! I really appreciate your visits and comments.

Penny Black Bee Birthday Card 2

My stash of birthday cards continues to grow. I couldn’t resist making a second card using the cute little Penny Black bee from “Every Which Way”. I combined it with the sentiment from the PB clear stamp set “Bubbly” and framed both the bee and title with my Nestabilities. Since the scalloped circle reminded me of a flower, I decided to add a stem and a couple of leaves. Hope you like it!
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend.

Penny Black Bee Birthday Card

Today I have another birthday card for you. The bee is from the Penny Black clear stamp set “Every Which Way” and the title is an Impression Obsession stamp. I paper pieced the bee and its wings to give it a 3D look. It was my first time watercoloring a stamped image and I have to say I really like the result. To those of you who also use Prismacolor watercolor pencils, is there a skin tone colored pencil you would recommend for coloring the Penny Black hedgehogs?
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.

Valentine’s Day Tent Card & Cupcake Topper

Lately I have been seeing lots and lots of tent cards everywhere and thought Valentine’s Day would be a good opportunity to give it a try myself. So here’s my take on a tent fold featuring the Penny Black dog from “Every Which Way”, my scalloped circle Nestabilities and some cloud pattern paper by A Muse.

I also did some baking yesterday and surprised my husband with these chocolate cupcakes. For the cupcake topper I chose the same Penny Black image as for the card above and finished it off by adding some Glossy Accents to the heart. Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day!

Another Penny Black Bookmark

After making a couple of bookmarks to give away as presents, I sat down and made this one for myself. The hedgies are from the Penny Black clear stamp set “Every Which Way” and the circles were cut with my scalloped circle Nestabilities. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.

Penny Black Hedgehog “I Love You” Card

I’m back with a love themed card that I made for my husband. Both the image and title are Penny Black clear stamps. The hedgie is from “Bubbly” and the title is from “Every Which Way”. For the window I used my Spellbinders scalloped circle Nestabilities. To bring out the red of the ladybug I applied some Glossy Accents.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking.
